Gold costumes catch the light. Drums, bass, guitar, saxophone and keyboards share the frame, while warm geometric imagery gives the ensemble a stage of its own. On October 25, 2026, Jet Set brought this band-promo shoot to Upperland Studio in Richmond, BC, with Michael Skinner arranging the session with the studio.

For a band preparing a promo, a performance video or material for an upcoming show, the appeal is clear: let viewers see the musicians together, then change the visual mood around the performance.

From gold geometry to neon colour

The photographs move through blue-and-pink triangular tunnels, lettering, radial light, hearts and a gold geometric setting. The performers remain the centre of attention as the LED imagery changes. One location becomes the starting point for several looks, with the instruments and group composition planned around each frame.

You might want a wide shot that introduces the whole lineup, a closer view of a vocal moment and another look for the energy of the chorus. Bring those ideas into the shot list together. Changing a background works best when wardrobe, foreground light and camera position follow the same direction.

The artists who brought it to life
