Meet the artist through the work
SOPHIANIC is the electronic music artist Sarah Isis Sophia. HOLY brings together SOPHIANIC and dipper, with featured vocals by The Troy Story 3. The official video credits the track’s co-production to SOPHIANIC and dipper; the artist’s Instagram posts also credit @behind_closed_doors for video.
One studio, several visual moods
The selected work moves between warm cathedral-style imagery, colourful serpent-scale textures and a large moon. Performance, costume and lighting give each background a different character. These published images show the creative result; they are credited video frames and covers, rather than behind-the-scenes photographs.
Upperland Studio provided the filming space for this project. For a music video, plan the relationship between the performer, the LED image, foreground light and camera framing. Bringing a short list of visual references makes it easier to discuss which scenes can share a setup and which need a reset.
