Project overview
A tender, close-up-driven performance piece for girly. (feat. Sophia Eleftheria), produced by Senseless Joy, shot at Upperland Studio in Richmond, BC. The director leaned into giant facial close-ups, macro lips and eyes, and silhouette scale to hold emotion—all captured in-camera on our LED wall for zero weather risk and faster approvals.
Creative approach
- Scale as storytelling: wall-filling portraits became the backdrop, letting the artist perform against living textures—skin, lashes, breath.
- Real-time look changes: background plates swapped in minutes (no resets, no location moves).
- On-set sign-off: what the team saw is what they got, easing the grade and reducing revisions.
