Spartan501 in a hooded Assassin’s Creed costume against a blue architectural scene

A credited character-photography collaboration

Photographer ArtClix Photography and cosplayer @spartan_501 connect Assassin’s Creed character portraits with Upperland Studio in two original publications. Both name the performer and the studio, keeping the relationship between photography, performance and venue visible.

The posts are titled “Destiny is calling” and “Leap of faith or nothing.” The second is a portrait title; the image shown here is a posed character photograph.

The same costume, two visual moods

A cool blue architectural environment frames the hooded costume in one photograph. The second moves into a warm red setting, with a hand-held prop extended toward the lens. The foreground gesture gives that frame a different sense of depth while the costume maintains the character’s identity.

For a portrait brief, the useful idea is to consider background colour, camera distance and gesture together. A change in these elements can produce a different mood without requiring a new character. The photographs show the finished result; the team’s precise lighting and compositing choices are not documented here.

The ArtClix team page brings this collaboration together with its other studio work. Spartan501’s creator page links to the performer and both original publications. You can compare other approaches in the cosplay photography collection.

For a shoot with a similar focus on costume and atmosphere, send your visual references and prop requirements through the studio booking enquiry.
