ArtClix and PoleLiang’s published studio portraits
ArtClix Photography (@artclix.photography) credits @poleliang as the talent and Upperland Studio as the studio in two character-photography publications. The “Scarlet energy” post is jointly published with Upperland’s account, making the connection visible from the original work.
This feature brings the two sets together and preserves the photographer’s and performer’s links, rather than presenting the images as anonymous studio examples.
A glowing prop against two different worlds
The first selected photograph places glowing props against a colourful neon city scene. The second surrounds the performer with red solar imagery. The palette changes strongly, while pose, costume and bright prop shapes keep the subject at the centre of the frame.
For a portrait concept, compare how a busy city image and a broad red field affect the silhouette. Planning both the wide composition and the edges around a glowing prop can help define the visual brief. These are observations of the finished photographs; the posts do not provide a complete lighting or effects breakdown.
One performer, several credited collaborations
PoleLiang’s creator page also connects to the earlier Greg Johnstone portrait feature. Each project retains its own photographer’s credit. The ArtClix team page collects ArtClix’s studio projects, while the cosplay collection offers further visual references.
Send your costume, prop and background ideas in a booking enquiry to discuss a portrait session at the studio.
